Swaplings is a series of stylised, 3D-printed action figures that explore inclusion and diversity through modular design and the representation of disabilities. Detachable limbs of varying shapes, sizes, and colours can be mixed and matched to encourage playful interaction beyond conventional toy norms.
Unique 3D models were textured and rendered in Blender to provide supporting graphic imagery.
The 3D printed models were interactive prototypes that explored the modularity of the system.
Additional accessories allow for absurd and creative play.
